Oh, it would have been a fun spring. He had some studs and some lanky lasses, who would have been contenders for the state meet in June.

"Rylie Bjerklie, the region champion, went to state last year in the high jump. She jumped five-one, I believe," he said.

It's Rylie's senior year, so her high school track career ends.
