$40 million Roseau School referendums approved

During a time of uncertain economic prospects, 35.8 percent of Roseau School District 682 voters showed up at the polls to pass two separate bond referendums this past Tuesday.

Each of the referendums will increase the property taxes for Roseau School District 682 residents.

Out of 3,918 registered voters, 1,406 voters made their votes count, either by absentee ballot or in person at the Roseau City Center. Both referendums passed on 74 to 26 percent margins.
