The 2020 Roseau County Fair Has Been Cancelled

On Monday evening, the Roseau County Fair Board met via Zoom and voted to cancel the Roseau County Fair, which is the main event of the summer.

Richard Magnusson, Director of the Roseau County Fair Board for the past five years, found little joy in their decision.

"We unanimously decided to cancel it. With the restrictions that are in place, it looked like they were likely to be in place throughout our fair time," he said, adding that it is impossible to host even a somewhat normal fair under the present conditions.
