Theodore T, Eeg’s second wound proved fatal. He was first wounded in December.

The following letter gives the particulars regarding the death of Theodore T. Eeg:

Dear Mrs. Linder:

In behalf of the commanding officer of this hospital I want to express our sympathy. Your son, Theodore T. Egg, was seriously wounded and died in this hospital in Belgium 5 February 1945.

I personally saw him and know that he was given the best treatment. He was wounded in Germany by a shell fragment in the left chest and died soon after arr- iving at the hosp...
