Roseau Memorial Day Program was remarkable

It was a different Memorial Day morning as the sun began to break through the clouds and one could hear the birds singing.

That was different.

Missing in action due to COVID-19 was the Roseau High School Band marching to the RHS gym and back to the Roseau Veterans Memorial on Monday morning.

No one complained in these changing times. It just made it more special to remember those who died in action in the last century to the present.

The old troopers, a good many needing haircuts, would have been chewed out royally in the old days for showing up with long hair.
