Dr. Kristin Comstock, a 2006 graduate of Roseau High School and daughter of Troy and Kathy Comstock, who grew up in Malung, graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School on May 8.
Roseau County Ford was having a 12 Hour Sale on June 18. Brats were to be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a trip to Las Vegas was to be given away at the end of the sale.
Robert J. and Mary Foley of Roseau announced the engagement of their daughter Erin Kay, to Kyle Lee Horntvedt, son of Vern and Pam Horntvedt of Baudette. A July 2015 wedding was planned.
A retirement party for Elaine Swenson, manager of the Roseau American Legion, was to be held on June 18 at the American Legion Post.
Bryan Erickson shot a hole in one (his third one) on hole 10 at Oakcrest Golf Course. He used a 7 iron and a Taylor Made golf ball.
Roseau Ram Reilly Stroot placed 4th during the Minnesota State Track Tournament in the pole vault.

The Roseau Board of Education approved the appointment of Aaron Nelson to replace the departing Tom Jerome as the Roseau High School assistant principal.
Kari Nelson and the Nashville Connection were returning to her hometown of Roseau to headline at the 2010 Roseau County Fair.
Madeline Huglen, a 13 year old Roseau seventh grader, was the Section 8A girls track champion at 3200 meters. She would be competing in the State Track and Field meet along with Caleb VandeWege, Wade Kerner, Jesse Eastman and Sam Gross from the boys team.
Roseau County students named to the UND Spring 2010 Semester Dean’s List were Amanda Rositas of Badger; Kristina Dvergsten of Greenbush; Kirsten Boekelheide and Kristy Pearson of Warroad; Jessica Johnson of Wannaska and Marissa Gravelle, Katie Langlie, Mary Loken and Kelsey Swart of Roseau.
25 years ago – June 16, 1995
Three Roseau women, Mary Hayes, Nancy Schiltz and Joan Randle, visited the United Kingdom this spring and had a great time for two weeks.
Lynette Renae Thompson of Roseau and Jessica Joan Reese of Greenbush, were students recognized for their scholastic achievement at St. Cloud State University.
Marla Spiver of Roseau was celebrating her 40th birthday on June 16.
Bruce and Lorraine Helgeson were celebrating their marriage with an open house wedding reception on June 25 at the Evangelical Covenant Church.
The Roseau American Legion team took first place in the Thief River Falls Tournament. Special honors went to Mike Benke who was selected the Most Valuable Player of the tournament and Robert Moser who was named Best Defensive Player of the tournament.
Charles and Betty Mohrbacher were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary with an open house on June 25th at the Fred and Dolly Meeker residence, west of Warroad.
Brenda Jean Espe and Nathan Clinton Acker, both of Roseau, were married on June 3 at the Roseau Covenant Church.
