It was spring. The leaves were returning, the grass was slowly converting back to green once again. I sat silently, watching the unfamiliar mountainous terrain pass by through the window. I had been stuck for nearly a whole day in the truck with my family. Luckily, staring out the window as we climbed the curved roads leading up the mountain was interesting enough to stay enraptured with.
