The Lucky Border Stars Relay for Life Team of Border State Bank raised nearly $5,000 when they hosted the 5th Annual Stomp Out Cancer 5K in Roseau. Winners were: Kids- Leila Johnson of Gatzke, Ages 13-19-Evan Grove of Warroad, Ages 20-29- Micah VandeWege of Roseau, Ages 30-39- Sarah Schmiedeknecht of Roseau, Ages 40-49- Delaine Auguston of Greenbush and Ages 50+ David Hamilton of Williams.

Hilma “Vickie” Temple was celebrating her 90th birthday with an open house on July 4 at the Roseau Four Seasons Center.
