On Thursday, June 11, Clay Mitchell Jerome, a Salol resident, was charged with a felony for threats of violence on Wednesday, June 10, at his residence in Salol.
Mr. Jerome is accused of threatening, directly or indirectly, with the purpose of terrorizing his spouse, Michelle Jerome. If convicted, he could face five years of imprisonment and/or $10,000 fine.
Additionally, Mr. Jerome, 51, was charged with 5th Degree Domestic Assault, which carries a maximum sentence of 90 days and/or $1,000 fine for committing an act with the intent to cause fear of immediate harm or death to a family member.
