Call it a mother's love.
Kate Lundquist is passionate, eloquent, and unique. She and her husband, Jacob, adopted two Haitian boys five years ago.
"We have six kids," she said, adding that Addison is 14, Charlotte (11), Nelson (11), Ridge (9), and Maki (8).
"And we have a bonus baby, a surprise, 20-month-old Verabeth," said Kate, a former RHS English teacher.
Nelson and Maki were five and two when they arrived in Roseau.
"They came home together, but they are not biological brothers," she said.
Kate speaks volumes about her adoptive sons.
