Roseau Youngster shines at 'Back the Blue' in Roseau County

It was enough to make a reticent police chief, one who is very tight-lipped whenever a crime is committed in Roseau because it's under investigation, to open up like he had just won the Irish Sweepstakes.

The credit for that goes to Caydun Dybedahl, a 10-year-old with a novel idea to do something special for local law enforcement.

"He's an inspiration to us. It was quite refreshing to have something like that in these times of what you're seeing in the news and everything," said Roseau Police Chief Ward Anderson a week ago Friday.
