Warroad- Lorraine Francis Hill, of Warroad, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at the Warroad Senior Living Center, at the age of 97. She was born July 10, 1923, to Dominik and Lillian Subart, who had emigrated from Czechoslovakia to Robinson, North Dakota. She had two brothers and four sisters.

She attended Ellendale N.D. Business School, and began her career as a stenographer in Fargo and Bismarck, and for the IRS in Washington, DC.
