Tis the season to be bitten by the political bug.

On the August Minnesota Primary ballot, four parties are fielding candidates for federal and/or state offices.

Along with the Democrat and Republican parties, there are two other parties in the running - the Legal Marijuana Now Party and the Grassroots - Legalize Cannabis Party.

The Grassroots-Legalize Cannabis Party has two individuals contesting for U.S. Representative District 7 - Rae Hart Anderson and Kevin "NeSe" Shores while five Republicans are contesting to be the one to advance to the November General Election.
