Fabian Calls on Walz to Move Line 3 Forward

August 15, 2020

Representative Dan Fabian, R-Roseau, joined a bipartisan letter Friday urging the governor to allow the Line 3 Replacement project to move forward after multiple delays and bureaucratic roadblocks stalled the project.

“This project is incredibly important to our area, and it is time to stop throwing up roadblocks to this common sense project,” said Fabian. “The PUC has voted to advance the Line 3 replacement project time and time again. It is time to listen to the experts and the people of Minnesota. This project will provide good jobs during this time of high unemployment claims, and stimulate local economies, increasing local property tax revenue and protecting the environment. There is no reason to delay it – Line 3 must move forward.”
