What the hell is going on here?

In last week's Roseau Times-Region Court Report, nine motorists were fined for not wearing seatbelts.

Only one of them wasn't a Roseau County resident. The bloke was from Thief River Falls, which is in Pennington County.

We are a Red County, Trump's County, and I know everyone here cherishes their personal freedoms.

Like in, "You can't tell me to wear a seatbelt" and "You can't tell me to wear a face mask."

Well, dammit all, if you haven't heard of State Trooper Sylvia Maurstad, the finest traffic enforcer in these parts, go ahead and be stupid.
