The Thompson Forest Road will have a construction project starting after Labor Day from the Bemis Hill Campground and extending westward to the Root Forest Road intersection. The project is approximately 1.25 miles in length. The intersection of the Bemis road is also being upgraded as part of the project. The project is scheduled to be completed before the end of October. Expect the road to be closed while the project is going on. The detour goes across the Palsburg to the Blacks Winner road.
