Laurine Annette Vacura, 83

Badger- Laurine Annette Vacura passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Oakcrest Senior Housing in Roseau, at the age of 83.

Laurine was born in Crookston on March 31, 1937 to George and Pearl (Gray) Mattson. She grew up and attended school in Badger, graduating from high school in 1955. On August 13, 1956 she married Otto Vacura in Baudette. They had three children – Cheryl, Otto Jr, Roger.

Over the years Laurine worked at the hospital in Greenbush and the D & M Liquor Store in Badger until she became disabled and unable to work. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Laurine enj...
