The following is from the Four Seasons Senior Center newsletter written by director, Thora Halvorson. "The Four Seasons Senior Center provides a place for senior citizens of Roseau and the surrounding areas to enjoy educational, social and recreational activities. The center also provides opportunities for seniors and volunteers their talents at various activities; to provide nutritional meal preparation site for congregate and home-delivered meals for seniors and the disabled, and to provide meeting room facilities for community groups and family gatherings on a rental basis."

The annual membership meeting will be on Tuesday, October 13th at 9:00 a.m. As a member of the center you are welcome to attend to be informed about the 'year in review' and what the plans are for the future. You will need to wear a mask and social distancing will be set up.

Mark your calendar! Donut Day will be Monday, October 12th.

The center is having a quilt raffle to help raise money for new flooring. The drawing will be on Wednesday, November 25th. Tickets can be purchased at the center.

Beltone Hearing will be at the center Wednesday, October 7th and 21st. Please call for your appointment.

A trip with Diamond Tours to the Mackinac Island is planned for September 19-25, 2021. Several people have already signed up. Call Thora at 463-1331 for more information.

A special thank you to the volunteers who pick up the noon meal and deliver Meals-On-Wheels. There are more volunteers who step up to do tasks when the center is in need.

LSS continues to provide Meals-On-Wheels Monday-Friday as well as take out 11-12 noon. If interested in reserving a meal to be picked up call 463-1331 before 9:30 a.m. Twin's Cafe of Badger prepares the food and it is picked up by center volunteers. Check the Roseau Times-Region weekly for the menu.

Thank you to all who have donated treasures to Unique Boutique, our rummage room. Clothing, household goods and much, much more are awaiting your visits.

Have you visited the craft area at the center lately? Come and see what beautiful handmade items are on display. Wall hangings, potholders, table runners, quilts, dish towels and more can be found.

The current hours of the center are Monday-Friday 8-1 p.m.

Due to COVID-19 no other activities are scheduled for the month of October.
