It is with deep appreciation that we bid farewell to retiring Rep. Dan Fabian from the legislature. Dan was a true champion for this district. I am ever so grateful for his permitting reform bills that made it possible to build in a timelier manner. I only wish that Dan Fabian could have had the chance to enact large scale DNR and MPCA reforms as chair of the Environment and Natural Resource Finance Committee, but DFL opposition repeatedly blocked those efforts. Our district and all of Minnesota would have greatly benefitted from conservative reforms of the DNR and MCPA.
