Kathryn "Kathy" Renae Olson, 80

Roseau- Kathryn "Kathy" Renae Olson was born on December 26, 1940 at the Budd apartments in Roseau to Clarence and Dagny (Grafstrom) Lundstrom. Kathy was raised in Strandquist with her two brothers on a large turkey farm. She graduated from Strandquist High School in 1958. Upon finishing high school, she pursued a degree in nursing at the Vocational School of Practical Nursing in Thief River Falls. Kathy lost both of her parents by the age of 18, so in addition to getting her LPN degree, she moved home to help her younger brother, Roger, finish high school and take care of the farm.
