Driving out to Sandy Shores in a forty year old rusted black Chevrolet truck with a boat that has been made stinky by countless fishing trips.. The ride to the cabin is filled with anticipation and the trees on the side of the highway seem to crawl by as if they are taunting me. When we finally reach the rocky gravel road lined with small yellow weeds disguised as flowers and beautiful bright pink Lady Slippers, I know we are almost to the cabin.
