Neiko Cleven comes at life as one of the good guys, always ready to help whether it's putting out real fires or booking local miscreants.

Mr. Cleven, 21, admits he has an unusual first name and laughed when asked if he's a Finn.

"I'm Norwegian. My dad actually named me," he said, adding that his mom wasn't too onboard with the name.

"My dad named me after a drummer," he said.

For sure, he's the only Neiko in the area or in law enforcement.

"I'm the only one I know," said the 2018 Warroad High School graduate.

When asked how big he is, he replied, "Oh, I'm a big guy. I'm short...
