Matt and Jacki Przekwas were recently honored as the Emerging Leaders of Kittson County for 2021.
Matt, a 2005 Roseau High School graduate, was in fine form during a phone call from outside his house in rural Lancaster.
He laughed when it was mentioned that he possibly received thousands of dollars in farm assistance from the Trump administration.
"I know! He's taking care of me," he said, chuckling. "We're buying a condo down in Florida. I'm going golfing with the old guy, Big T."
Then, he got down to reality time.
