A week ago Friday, December 11, Roseau School Superintendent Tom Jerome had reasons to celebrate.

"We have not had one single student or adult develop or test positive for Covid due to a close contact at school," he said, adding that there have been no verifiable transmissions.

With roughly 1,326 people - students and staff - the school district presently has only two Covid cases.

"One of the students will fall off the books tomorrow and the other one will fall off on Monday," he said, acknowledging the likelihood that there could be Covid cases in the future.
