TJ Thawan Sithamat was the first baby to be born in Roseau County this year. TJ, the son of Tony Sithamat and Dokket “Ket” Simmavanh of Warroad, was born on January 6 at LifeCare Medical Center.

A 100 year birthday celebration for Edward Brandli was to be held on January 21 at the “Lodge” in the Warroad Senior Living Center.

Jackie Bengtson was the winner of $100 in Roseau Dough in the Roseau Holiday Fantasy drawing.
