Roseau- Wayne LeRoy Olafson passed away with family members by his side on January 11, 2021 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D. after a short battle with cancer. He was 60 years old.

Wayne was born in Roseau on November 2, 1960 to Gordon and Martha (Larsen) Olafson. He was the oldest of five children. He grew up in Roseau and attended school there, graduating from high school in 1979. After graduation, Wayne continued to make his home in Roseau.

Wayne worked at Marvin Windows, Polaris Industries, Sorensen's Automotive, Renew Cleaning, Culligan and CHS Ag Services. He retired in 2019. He...
