Newfolden- Valborg Huglen, 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Villa St. Vincent in Crookston, where she and her brother Raynard were recovering from the effects of having Covid 19.

Valborg Marguerite Huglen was born August 13, 1924, in Wildrose, Williams County, N.D., to Reverend Reinert J. and Inga (Lee) Huglen. She was baptized by her father.

She attended schools in Wildrose; Govan Saskatchewan, Canada; Westby, Mont.; and Newfolden where she graduated from high school in 1942. She then went to Minneapolis to seek employment. In the next two years she had jobs...
