Kay Vertina, from Mpls, and Jeff Vertina, from Brooklyn Park, drove up to Salol a week ago. They brought Jerry and Katherine to Grand Forks where Jerry had eye surgery the following day. The next day they returned home to the cities.

Dennis Monkmon celebrated his 84th birthday with cake and ice cream on January 18th. Larry and Marvel Monkman visited in the morning and Scott and Wendy came that evening.

Troy Monkmon was home from college at Patrick Monkmans on the weekend.
