Two Inseparable Dogs Are Rescued From An Ice Floe

Late on Monday afternoon, Spencer and Lily, two golden retrievers, had to be retrieved from the Roseau River after falling through the thin ice.
On Monday evening, Roseau Police Chief Ward Anderson called it a good news story.
"Officer Dan Berggren is the one who got the dogs out, and he was assisted by Conservation Officer Ben Huener," he said, explaining that the rescue occurred near 3rd Avenue.
