“One more time, ”You said as you rested your hand on my cheek.

I thought back at that moment. One...That’s all it takes.

One word, one second, one moment, that’s all you need to change time.

One glance, turned into, one word.

Which to one, one minute, one hour, one day. 

One week, one month, one year, the clock keeps ticking for what feels like a lifetime.

I tend to scream when I try to deny that time is racing by one.
