Madison Dahl, 15, the daughter of Adam Dahl (RHS Class of 1994) and Leslie Renfroe, weighed 17 ounces at birth and measured just 12 inches.

That's 1 pound, 1 ounce.

In early April, Madison was looking ahead to the upcoming prom.

That was startling news.

It seems like yesterday that it was June 2005, and she was the rarest of preemies.

"I'll be 16 on June 28," she said, sounding like a big girl now.

"The last I checked, I was 96 pounds or so," she said.
