Roseau- Edna C. Finley was born May 13, 1926 to Emil and Alice Ostlund in Marshall County. She attended country school on the Randine Ridge before continuing her education in Thief River Falls and at the Agriculture school in Crookston.

Edna married Charles "Emmett" Finley in Roseau in 1943. They moved to their farm 12 miles North of Grygla where she was a housewife and raised their 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. She then worked as a cook in Nelson's Café for 25 years and was loved by all who worked with her. She also worked for a time at the hospital in Roseau doing the laundry. Edna too...
