The first event in the Allison Park Summer Series took place in Warroad on June 25-26. The theme of the evening was Hockeytown USA®, so attendees were encouraged to wear their favorite jersey and Warroad Community Partners served the old Warroad Memorial Arena Sloppy Joe recipe with Hockeytown USA Root Beer floats. Gigi Marvin, Olympic Gold Medalist and Warroad native even made an appearance, playing a pickup game of hockey with kids in the street. FCA and Team EPIC also provided games and activities for children of all ages.
