The sound of a whistle echoes in my ear

while the silence and anticipation overcome the crowd

The ball comes down and is at my side

I search for rescue from my teammates

as I hear the thunder of defense coming at me

I fly across the gym floor and fight with Ram Pride

and I stand at the line for two points that are mine

I move towards the net and steady my stride 

as the point guard looks to me to guide,
