On August 14 at approximately 11:30 a.m. the Warroad Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle being struck by a train at the Lake St NE railroad crossing in the City of Warroad. While on scene officers learned that a pickup had been stopped on the tracks and was struck by a north bound CN train. The lone occupant of the truck was identified as fifty-nine year old Boupha Sysomsack of Warroad, who died of her injuries.
