I am from the pages of a book, with new words with each page,

from Shopko and water balloon fights.

I am from the middle of town,

where the snow takes longer to melt.

I am from lightning strikes

and the pouring rain.

I'm from alternate traveling certain holidays

hosting annual New Year's parties at home.
