Roseau- Douglas LeRoy Cole passed away on October 5, 2021 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D. He was 81 years old.

Doug Cole was born November 15, 1939 in Reine Township of Roseau County to Roland and Sarah (Lewis) Cole. He attended elementary school at Winner and high school at Roseau, graduating from Roseau High School in 1959.

On December 31, 1987 Doug married Jean Simons at Bethesda Lutheran Church.

Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing for walleye, playing cards, watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings and growing & canning vegetables and four-wheeling. He loved lefse, lutefisk, and po...
