Greenbush- Elsie Freda Lindberg passed away on October 2, 2021 at the LifeCare Greenbush Manor in Greenbush at the age of 105, where she was a resident since 2012.

Elsie was born on November 27, 1915 in Aitkin to Fred and Anna (Radke) Gross. The family moved to Roseau in 1919, settling in Spruce Township. Elsie attended the District 51 school in Jadis township. She had to cross the river every day to attend school.

On October 31, 1949, Elsie married Kenneth Lindberg in Roseau. Elsie loved to cook and was an excellent baker. She always put on a large spread for her company. She was an avid g...
