The youth firearms deer season was conducted statewide from Thursday, October 21, through Sunday, October 24.

This is the beginning of deer season for the Rothenberger family, which is a major event for the whole family.

"We all love venison, and it is a main source of meat for our families," stated Rhonda.

Wayne and Rhonda Rothenberger have two sons, Charlie and the late Cody.

Wayne passed on his love of hunting to the boys at an early age and taught them all the skills of hunting deer.
