Gregory Dean Dahl was born on January 12, 1958, to Harry M. and Gudrun (Foss) Dahl in Roseau.

Greg was their youngest child. As a toddler, he would tell people, "I am Mama's boy, Daddy's man, and Patty's pet!" His life was challenging with illness and medical issues prevailing all his life. However, he enjoyed much and loved to laugh. Greg thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings with lots of good food, and he was a good cook, too.

Greg had a mischievous side, too, buying the kinds of toys for his nieces and nephews that the parents hated...
