Meet the preacher's kid.

Pastor A.C. Rykken, who served five churches simultaneously in Roseau County, had lots of Roseau friends, according to his son, Dave, who resides in Anoka in the Twin Cities.

"I keep meeting people here who were baptized, confirmed, and married by Dad."

If they were married by Pastor A.C. Rykken, they're definitely not kids anymore. In fact, they're lucky to be alive.

For the record, Pastor Rykken, long deceased, did not perform the wedding ceremony for Dave and his bride, Jan, who have beaten the odds.
