Dean Blais is inducted into U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame

On Saturday morning, Dean Blais was waiting in the Denver Airport to fly back to Phoenix, Arizona.

"We'll spend a week down there and then go back up north to International Falls for Christmas."

He said nothing about his remarkable coaching career or the premier honor he had received just two days earlier.

On Thursday evening at the Denver Marriott Tech Center, he was one of the four members of the 2020 Class being inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, which had been cancelled a year ago because of Covid-19.
