Police officer Nick Anderson, the son of Roseau Police Chief Ward Anderson, was honored on November 30 in East Grand Forks for his heroism and professionalism. He joined the Grand Forks Police Department on March 2, 2015.

Roseau High School freshman, Seraphina “Sera” Johnstun was honored as the recipient of the VFW District 9 Voice of Democracy essay winner. She is the daughter of Jeremiah and April Johnstun.

Roseau High School Triple “A” award winners were Ivy Braaten and Jacob LePard.
