Badger- Merlyn Haugen passed away on December 5, 2021 at the age of 77.

Merlyn was born July 29, 1944 to Nels & Mable Haugen, hardy Norwegian farmers.

Merlyn graduated from Roseau High School. Merlyn's occupation was an over-the-road trucker working for North Star. Merlyn owned his own truck. To avoid having truck problems he would trade in his older truck for a newer one. Merlyn did this three different times and it worked! Merlyn enjoyed his work plus got to see all parts of our great U.S.A. Merlyn never complained about having to go to work!
