Mark Foldesi was the new Roseau County Board Chairman. Glenda Phillipe was elected Vice Chair.

The Roseau Ram boys hockey team won their Holiday Hockey Tournament. The Rams defeated Minot 6-2, Irondale, 8-1 and Devils Lake 6-2.

Roseau Sophomore Chandler Mooney was a perfect 4&0 at 145 pounds at the KLN Wrestling tournament held in Perham.

Winners from the December 29th drawing of Roseau Holiday Fantasy tickets were Julie Mindl and Michael Hamlin.
