Just a wonderful way to celebrate a terrific life

I read obituaries like a businessman scans the stock market for hot tips or a burglar reads the local news reporting that the Smiths have set sail for England.
It's an invite to rob the place.
A month ago, I read the obit on Renay Mandel Corren, 84, in the Fayetteville Observer, compliments of my favorite daughter, April.
This is a joke since she is my only daughter, but she definitely knows a great obit when she sees one.
There was no mention in the obit that Renay grew wings and was heaven-bound as we often read in the more stifling obits.
I wish I would have met the old dame.
