Wannaska- Elaine MaryAnn Billberg passed away on January 24th, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. Elaine was born to Edith (Dahl) and Ellert Nelson on May 28th, 1948 in Wannaska. 

She attended Wannaska Elementary until 8th grade and then graduated from Roseau High School. Elaine was a farm wife and worked at Polaris until the early 90's. Elaine followed her dream and attended Northland Community College and became a Registered Nurse. She worked at LifeCare Medical Center until her retirement. Elaine married the love of her life Dale Billberg on October 29th, 1966.
