Idea: What does the "new self" (new in character) look like?

We are looking at the character of the Christian. In 11 Corinthians 5:17 Paul writes: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation..." This sentence could also be translated: "...if anyone is in Christ he is a part of a new creation; a new order of things, a new way of seeing and responding to life." Christ is the author of this "new creation" through His death and resurrection. The Cross is the "Marker," dividing the old from the new. ...Behold, now is the accepted time: behold, now is the day of salvation"...
