Ginevra Johnson earns prestigious Character Award

Ginevra, a Roseau High School senior hockey player and the daughter of Jim and Janet Johnson, was recently honored with the 2022 Hobey Baker High School Character Award, presented annually to varsity high school hockey programs in Minnesota.

A week ago Thursday, Ginevra, 18, was asked about her height and casually mentioned that she is five-two.

RHS guidance counselor Dan Urness chirped in, "That's a perfect height if you ask me."

A chuckling Mr. Urness will never dunk a basketball and is impressed with the young lady.

"She's also ranked number one in her class and has a 4.0 GPA....
