A wonderful life with Sophie, a true sweetheart

Occasionally, a timely tip comes along that is too good to pass up.

On April 16, Alan Anderson emailed the Roseau Times-Region with a suggestion to interview his mother, Sophie (née Nordstrom) Anderson, who turned 102 earlier in April.

"She is still sharp, likes to discuss current events, and has never forgotten her Roseau roots. If interested, there is more to the story," Mr. Anderson wrote in his email.

Unless there is another living 1938 RHS graduate, Sophie is the last surviving member.

Always, with the elderly, there is a concern that they cannot hear.
